Dual Assignment project

Jason and I have started a dual assignment (DA) project, where we each pick a one word subject for the other, him to write a short story and me to create an illustration. So here I am, jamming with the TV in the background on Music Choice - Hit List (go ahead and laugh, you know you do it too) and Painter-ing with my bad self!

I'll post each new topic and my finished illustrations here. His first DA subject is "torture", mine is "sniper". See a morbid trend this week? Me too. Hrm... maybe we've been watching way too much Military Channel. ;-)

Jason gave me a present today - a 24-color set of Sharpie markers! I'm trying to use a different color every day in my sketchbook, as I tend to erase way too much when I use graphite. Tonight I did a page in peach inspired by watching Pan's Labyrinth. Cool stuff!
