"Fish", pen & ink

Here is my cute, adorable little fish. He was the first assignment in my Illustration Media class this semester. The assignment called for an animal in the ink techniques we learned in class, a basic background, and incorporating at least one letter in the composition. I chose a deep sea fish and added my own twist. Then I scanned it into Photoshop and added letters as random bits of "stuff" in the ocean. He was very popular... but I think my classmates were somewhat perturbed. ;-)

Here is some of my older work from before I started here at Ringling. I thought it might be interesting to post it to get a better look at my progress as time passes.
